The Malaysia Tide Tables (MTT) is an official nautical publication containing tabulated predictions for high and low water for each day of the year for over 71 standard ports in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sawarak, Brunei and Singapore. Its also provide predictions of tidal streams of the Malacca Straits.
In addition, MTT provides a list of harmonic constants for all standard and secondary ports, including tidal level and time differences for the secondary ports in relation to the relevant standards ports. Tidal predictions are derived from analysed observed data and computed through harmonic analysis. The Tide Tables comes in 2 volume. They are: - Volume 1 - Covers all standard ports located in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.
- Volume 2 - Covers all standard ports located in Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.
Datum Common datum is shared for predictions as well as charting. Time Zone The times and heights of high and low waters are tabulated for every day of the year. The time zone used is the Malaysian local time (UTC + 8) |
